Hamilton have confirmed they have agreed a deal with Burnley for Brian Easton.
Burnley had an initial bid rejected for the full-back last week, but now both parties have agreed an undisclosed fee.
Easton, who had expressed an interest in moving to Turf Moor, has been given permission to talk to the Premier League new boys and he is expected to undergo a medical on Tuesday.
A statement on Hamilton's official website read: "Hamilton Accies and Burnley Football Club have agreed a transfer fee for the transfer of Brian Easton. Brian will travel to England for his medical and thereafter join Burnley on their tour of California.
"We wish to record our appreciation of the way Owen Coyle conducted the negotiations and good fortune to Brian on the next phase of his career.
"Both clubs have agreed not to divulge the financial details of the transfer."
Hamilton also moved to play down rumours linking highy-rated duo James McCarthy and James McArthur with moves away from New Douglas Park
The midfield duo are thought to be attracting interest from clubs in England, but the club insist no offers have been accepted for the pair.
"The speculation surrounding James McArthur and James McCarthy has no foundation," added the club statement. "We attempt to conduct all negotiations in a private and professional manner and on receipt of any formal offers the player and his representatives will be fully informed.
