Falkirk manager Eddie May is hopeful of concluding a deal for Burnley teenager Alex MacDonald.
It is reported the 19-year-old forward will sign at the SPL club in a six-month loan switch.
MacDonald has yet to make a starting appearance for Burnley and it is thought manager Owen Coyle is keen for the youngster to gain first-team experience to aid his development.
May said in the Daily Record: "We hope the deal goes through shortly."
Meanwhile, it is claimed Falkirk have agreed a fee with Partick Thistle for their former player Marc Twaddle, who is set to hold contract talks on Thursday.
