Chairman plays down Fulham reports

West Bromwich Albion have played down rumours that Jonathan Greening could leave the Championship club. Greening has stated that he is happy to remain at The Hawthorns, despite their relegation from the Premier League. Fresh reports have suggested Fulham could bid for the midfielder this summer, but the Baggies have rebuffed the claims. Albion chairman Jeremy Peace said: "There's a lot of stuff swirling around out there about Jonno at the moment. "But we don't have to do business and we won't be doing business with our best players. "We're cash-neutral so we can afford to buy before we sell but we won't sell our crown jewels. Our goal is to try and stay in Premier League over time."
