Toulouse reportedly in talks to sign Ivory Coast striker

Boubacar Sanogo does not want to return to Werder Bremen after being linked with a move to Toulouse. The Ivory Coast striker has a strained relationship with Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf and spent the second half of last season on loan at Hoffenheim. Bremen's Bundesliga rivals did not take up their option to sign Sanogo permanently and reports now claim he is wanted by Toulouse. Sanogo, who was a target for Le Havre and Marseille in January, is reportedly in talks with Toulouse regarding a €3million (£2.5million) switch. And the 26-year-old believes a move away from Bremen before the start of the new season will benefit all parties. "I don't want to return to a club where the manager has a personal problem with me," Sanogo told Ivory Coast newspaper Nord-Sud. "A transfer will be the best thing for the two parties."
