Cedric Konan has revealed he would love to play in the Premier League as he prepares to leave Lecce.
The 26-year-old Ivorian has been with Lecce since 2000 but is set to move on following their relegation from Serie A.
There has already been plenty of speculation about where he could be plying his trade next season and a number of top clubs are understood to be interested.
According to reports in Italy and France, Premier League trio Fulham, Wigan and Sunderland are all monitoring his situation.
French sides Sochaux and Metz have also been linked and Konan admits it is important he makes the right decision.
However, the powerful forward has made it clear that he would welcome the chance to go to England.
"I am 26 and a free agent, so there are contacts in the top leagues but I need to take a deep breath and make the right choice because I am not getting younger," he told skysports.com.
"I would love to play in England without a doubt."
