Benfica are yet to receive any approach for defender Luisao, according to the club's sporting director Rui Costa.
The Brazil international has been linked with a move to ambitious Premier League outfit Manchester City in recent weeks.
The centre-half had admitted an interest in a switch to Eastlands, keen to experience life in one of Europe's top divisions.
Luisao is still expected to be on the move this summer, bringing to an end a six-year spell in Portugal.
However, despite a number of clubs tracking his availability, a formal offer for his services is yet to be lodged.
"The fact that clubs are interested in him is normal because he is a great footballer, but we haven't received any bid," said Costa.
