Tranquillo Barnetta has sparked another transfer debacle after he admitted he would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League.
No sooner had reports that the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder was set to switch to Stuttgart died down, another transfer storm involving the Swiss international threatens to erupt.
The 24-year-old reportedly turned down the chance to join Portsmouth in January while Arsenal were said to have showed interest in March.
Despite his eagerness to test himself in England, Barnetta indicates that any deal will not be done over night.
"I would like to play in the Premier League, the club is aware of that," he told SI.
"I think a move to a different country would suit me fine. There are a few options, but it is not going to be a decision to be made at the end of today.
"I am looking forward to every proposal, I am very cool on those things."
