Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed he expects to start next season at White Hart Lane after failing to secure a permanent deal at Borussia Dortmund.
The Tottenham midfielder joined the Bundesliga outfit on-loan in the January transfer window but the club will not make the move permanent after failing to qualify for the Europa League.
Boateng's time at Dortmund was blighted by injury plus a controversial red card and manager Michael Zork admitted in March that he felt the player was overpriced.
Boateng has failed to make an impact in North London since his move from Hertha Berlin in 2007 under then boss Martin Jol, but he expects that he will likely return to the Premier League next term.
"I have just heard from my advisor that there is no future for me at Dortmund," he told German Newspaper Bild.
"I will probably have to start next season back at Spurs."
