Nicky Barmby has confirmed he has agreed a new contract with Hull City.
The 35-year-old's previous deal was set to expire in the summer but the club have opted to reward him for his displays this campaign.
Barmby is delighted to have penned a one-year extension to his terms but stressed the focus is on Sunday, when Hull look to avoid relegation against Manchester United.
He said: "We have sorted out another year, which I am well pleased about. The manager and the chairman have been great to me.
"I'm obviously very pleased but it goes on the back-burner and we are just concentrating on Sunday."
