Park Ji-sung is hopeful Carlos Tevez remains at Manchester United after describing the Argentine as 'the best player'.
Tevez's future is uncertain as he nears the end of a two-year loan deal at Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old forward has grown unsettled at United after struggling for a regular role in the side, and it is suggested he could move elsewhere in the summer.
Park, though, has urged the club to retain Tevez's services as he feels it would be tough to replace the attacker, who has scored 15 times this season.
The South Korean said in The Sun: "It would be very disappointing if Carlos left, not just for me but everyone at Man United because he is the best player, so we need him.
"We know that. Hopefully, he will stay.
"This season when he's come on the pitch he has scored a lot of goals, helped the team and saved the team.
"It is only Carlos who can do that, compared to other players. He works hard and scores a lot of goals."
