Baggies boss confident of having a left-back available

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is confident he will have at least one recognised left-back available to face Liverpool. The Baggies manager has doubts over Paul Robinson and Marek Cech ahead of Sunday's vital clash at The Hawthorns. Robinson is struggling with an ankle injury while Cech limped out of last weekend's crucial win over Wigan with cramp. West Brom kept alive their faint hopes of avoiding the drop with victory last time out and Mowbray is keen to have as many players fit as possible for the visit of Rafa Benitez's title contenders.

Importance

"I'm pretty sure one of them will be fit and given the importance of the game they will probably both be fit," said Mowbray. "I think Robbo will do a bit of running soon but he is still with the physio. "He will try that and see how it goes and if it's positive he will build up during the week. "Hopefully by later in the week the fitness side of things will be looking a lot healthier."
