Young Scot in line for new contract

Graham Dorrans is poised to sign a new deal at West Brom, skysports.com understands. The 21-year-old has impressed in recent weeks after getting a chance in Tony Mowbray's starting XI. Dorrans, who has been included in the Scotland B squad to face Northern Ireland next week, is highly regarded by Mowbray. The midfielder has made ten appearances for West Brom this season since his arrival from Livingston last summer. Dorrans has just over a year to run on his current contract and West Brom are ready to reward him for his progress with an extension. The player's agent Willie McKay has confirmed talks are progressing well and that a new deal should be sorted in the near future. "West Brom are looking to give Graham a new improved deal to reward him for his progress," McKay told skysports.com. "The meetings with West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace have gone very well and we are hopeful of a successful conclusion very soon."
