Taye Taiwo insists it is not a foregone conclusion that he will be leaving Marseille this summer.
The Nigeria international continues to be linked with a host of clubs from across Europe and it was widely believed that he would be on the move come the end of the season.
He has expressed a desire to play in England one day, revealing that it would his dream to play for one of the Premier League's 'big four'.
However, he remains fully focused on helping Marseille maintain their standing at the top of Ligue 1 for now and has moved to assure the club's supporters that he has never asked to be sold.
"The fans think I will leave at the end of the season, but I want to tell them that I might stay," Taiwo told Telefoot.
"I am thinking a lot about my future at the moment, but I have a contract at Marseille until 2011."
