Sporting midfielder Joao Moutinho confesses he would find it difficult to reject a move to England, possibly alerting Everton to a summer bid.
The Toffees are understood to hold a long-term interest in the Portugal international, with Sporting claiming last July that an £11.8million offer was rejected.
Moutinho is under contract at Estadio Jose Alvalade until 2013 which means that any suitors would be forced to pay top price if they are to tempt Sporting to sell.
But the 22-year-old has indicated that his club could be fighting a losing battle if a Premier League club makes an approach.
He told Portuguese media: "If I receive a good offer from England it will be difficult to reject."
West Ham and Newcastle have also been credited with a curiosity in Moutinho in the past and are understood to have scouted the youngster.
