Sevilla striker Fredi Kanoute has revealed that Premier League clubs are eager to secure his services.
Kanoute has just over a year remaining on his current contract with Sevilla but hopes to keep playing at the top level for a long time.
The former West Ham and Tottenham striker, 31, admits he has been flattered to hear of the interest from English clubs.
However, he is focused on playing well for Sevilla and plans to open talks over a new deal in the near future.
"My agent keeps getting calls from English clubs but I have a contract with Sevilla," he told Four Four Two magazine.
"In England I still have a good reputation which is a good sign and means that people remember the work that I did there.
"I know I will soon begin negotiations to extend my contract but I need to speak to the club's president and sports director to see the club's plans and mine.
"I don't know how many years I have left but I am fine physically and hope to continue for many more years."
