Blues star a big admirer of Dutchman

Chelsea captain John Terry has backed the club's move for Guus Hiddink to replace Luiz Felipe Scolari. Scolari was surprisingly sacked by Chelsea on Monday after Roman Abramovich lost patience with the Brazilian. Chelsea have moved quickly to line up a deal for Russia coach Hiddink to take over until the end of the season. The Russian Football Union have given Hiddink permission to talk to Chelsea and the Blues are hopeful of agreeing a deal with the former PSV Eindhoven and Real Madrid boss. Terry, who was sad to see Scolari go, believes Hiddink will help Chelsea rediscover their best form and get them playing attractive open football. "He's very astute and with his connections with Roman, there are links there," said Terry. "He likes to play football. His teams get the ball out from the back and play an awful lot but I don't know too much about him. We'll have to wait and see."
