PSG midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu will not join West Bromwich Albion after lengthy talks.
Baggies Boss Tony Mowbray confirmed his interest in the promising DR Congo international and the 22-year-old was in England on Thursday and was expected to complete a move to The Hawthorns.
Mulumbu, whose PSG contract expires in the summer, had expressed his desire to move to the Premier League strugglers, but it appears negotiations have broken down.
PSG coach Paul Le Guen confirmed the African ace will not be joining Albion despite long talks.
"He went there to talk about his transfer. But apparently, he is coming back as talks have fallen through," Le Guen said
"Youssouf will join back the group without any trouble. I didn't want an unhappy player with us, but I am finally happy he is back."
