Tottenham keeper Heurelho Gomes will not be returning to former club PSV Eindhoven this month, according to the Dutch club's technical manager Adrie van Kraaij.
The 27-year-old Brazilian only signed from the Dutch champions in the summer but has already been linked with moves away from White Hart Lane following a string of woeful displays.
Spurs' signing of Italian shot-stopper Carlo Cudicini from Chelsea on Monday has added to the speculation about Gomes' future, with the Brazilian's position in goal now under serious threat.
Cudicini, 35, arrives on a free transfer after being Petr Cech's understudy at Stamford Bridge since the Czech's arrival at the club in 2004.
But Van Kraaij has denied any possibility of Gomes returning to Holland in the near future.
"We never spoke internally about a possible return" he told AD Sportwereld.
"We also heard the news that Tottenham signed a keeper, but we have no direct contact with Gomes."
