Modeste M'bami has admitted he would welcome the opportunity to play in the Premier League.
The Cameroon international is currently out of favour at Marseille and has been strongly linked with a January exit from Stade Velodrome.
A move to England has been widely touted, with Wigan believed to be one of the clubs expressing an interest in his services.
M'bami is desperate to secure a switch in order to boost his international ambitions, and has revealed that he is also mulling over offers from Spain.
"I am aware of an interest from a Premier League club, but I have also received contact from Spanish clubs," he told skysports.com.
"My contract will expire in June and I have not been used by Marseille for a long time.
"I need the playing time because it is the World Cup next year and I need to play.
"The Premier League would be great. Who does not love the Premier League? But there is nothing to say at the moment."
Reports suggest a fee of just £500,000 would be enough to secure M'bami, with Marseille reluctant to lose him for nothing in the summer.
