Villa defender loving life in England

Carlos Cuellar admits to being overwhelmed by Aston Villa's progress this season. The Spaniard only joined the club from SPL giants Rangers over the summer, but has seen the Villans smash all expectations he held upon his arrival. Martin O'Neill has led the Midlands outfit into the Premier League's top four, with UEFA Champions League qualification now a distinct possibility. Cuellar, who is fit again after being plagued by injuries following his arrival at Villa Park, is relishing the prospect of testing himself in the English top-flight and hopes a 'dream' season can provide a perfect finale. He told the club's official website: "It was a big opportunity for me to come to one of the biggest clubs in the Barclays Premier League. "From my first day, everyone was very friendly and welcomed me, which was a big help. "We have a young team and we are very together. It will be difficult, but I believe we are capable of achieving Champions League football next season. "Every day is a dream for me. Ever since I was young, I have wanted to play in England. "When I get up, I feel happy because this is what I have always wanted."
