Michael Carrick has warned Manchester United's rivals that he and his Old Trafford team-mates are hungry for further glory in 2009.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side won the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Fifa Club World Cup in 2008, but they are not prepared to rest on their laurels.
England midfielder Carrick insists the Red Devils are hoping to eclipse their achievements of the last 12 months in 2009.
"The last year has been incredible," Carrick said in the Daily Star.
"To be able to set out an achieve everything we wanted to do - winning three major trophies - is very special, something to remember.
"But, as players, we can look back on that at the end of our careers.
"Now we want to strive to achieve more. We hope 2009 will be even better."
