Watford have signed Arsenal defender Gavin Hoyte on loan for the remainder of the season.
Hoyte is highly regarded at Emirates Stadium and signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners a fortnight ago.
He made his debut earlier this season in the Carling Cup tie with Sheffield United, and also featured against Wigan and Burnley in the competition.
The 18-year-old was also handed his first Premier League start for Arsenal in the 3-0 defeat at Manchester City back in November.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is now keen for Hoyte to gain further first-team experience and has sanctioned a move to Watford.
The full-back, who can also play in the centre of defence, will be available for the Hornets' FA Cup third-round tie against Scunthorpe United on Saturday.
