Keeper weighs up options

A number of English clubs are planning a move for highly-rated Le Mans goalkeeper Yohann Pele, skysports.com understands. The Le Mans custodian is an attractive proposition for a host of sides across Europe with his current contract due to expire in the summer. Pele could leave Le Mans for free at the end of the season or he could agree a pre-contract in January to join a club outside France. Le Mans are resigned to losing their prize asset and they could decide to cash-in on him during the January transfer window. The news has alerted a number of clubs to Pele's availability, with Portsmouth credited with an interest. Pele, who has broken into the France squad in recent months, is in no rush to make a decision on his future and is weighing up his options with his advisor Habib Sissoko. The 26-year-old is thought to be interested in a move to England as he looks to establish himself as a regular in the France squad.
