Abdoulaye Faye has aimed a swipe at Newcastle insisting, he made the right choice to swap Tyneside for Stoke.
The Senegal international, who joined Stoke in the summer from Newcastle, came back to haunt his old club with a late equaliser in the 2-2 draw at St James' Park on Saturday.
The towering defender says he has no regrets over his move away from Newcastle and insists there is a better unity among the squad at the Britannia Stadium.
"I like Stoke better, I'm happier, it's closer and is more like a family," Faye told The Sun.
"It's the atmosphere, and the team - everybody's closer. We go out together as a team. It's different to Newcastle."
