Middlesbrough striker Mido will make a decision on his future at The Riverside in the January transfer window.
The Egypt international, who is Boro's top scorer this season, has been strongly linked with Premier League rivals Wigan.
Mido admits he is aware of interest from Wigan, as manager Steve Bruce looks for possible replacements for Emile Heskey, who is expected to leave the club in the New Year.
And 25-year-old Mido, who made a substitute return from injury in last Saturday's Tees-Tyne derby with Newcastle, confesses that he will consider his options at the beginning of 2009.
"Bruce wanted to sign me before, but I did not decide anything as yet," Mido told Al Hayat.
"All I want to do now is to score goals and improve my game.
"But I will decide on my future in the next transfer window."
