Jurgen Klinsmann claims to be 'very happy' in his role with the USA national team amid reports linking him with a return to Tottenham.
With Harry Redknapp the overwhelming favourite to succeed Fabio Capello as England boss, there is expected to be a managerial vacancy at White Hart Lane in the not too distant future.
Redknapp admits it would be a wrench for him to walk away from Spurs, having helped to transform the club's fortunes, but he has previously expressed a desire to coach his country.
Should he inherit the Three Lions reins, Tottenham will cast their net far and wide in search of the right man to take them forward.

Klinsmann is currently 14/1 with Sky Bet to be the next permanent Tottenham manager. Jose Mourinho is 9/2 whilst Brendan Rodgers is 16/1! Bet now.
Reports suggest Klinsmann would be a serious contender for the role, with the former Germany international having taken in two memorable spells with the club during his playing days.
He is, however, currently in charge of the American national side and claims his full focus at present is on readying them for the start of a 2014 World Cup qualification campaign.
"I'm very happy in my role as USA manager and busy preparing for the start of World Cup qualifying this summer," said Klinsmann.
