Which Premier League stars played a key role for their country in the latest round of European Qualifiers?
It was a significant weekend in the race for Euro 2016 spots as most of the groups reached the halfway stage.
While there were plenty of impressive displays, we have picked out the top five players from the Premier League who played an important part in helping their country's qualification bid.
Marouane Fellaini – Belgium
The Manchester United midfielder has rediscovered his best form in recent months and he was the star of the show in Belgium’s 5-0 win over Cyprus.
Fellaini opened the scoring after 21 minutes before curling in a brilliant strike from outside the penalty area to net his 10th international goal after the break.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Aston Villa's Christian Benteke were also on target in the comfortable victory.
Andorra might not be the toughest opposition, but this was a timely hat-trick for Dzeko as he finds his place at Manchester City under pressure from Wilfried Bony.
Dzeko has scored just four times for City in the Premier League this season but made it a record-extending 41 goals for Bosnia as they picked up their first win in Group B by beating Andorra 3-0.
He netted the first on 13 minutes and then scored twice in the second half to complete his hat-trick.
While there is little doubt that Gareth Bale is Wales' most important player, Ramsey cannot be too far behind after another impressive display in the 3-0 win over Israel.
The Arsenal midfielder got the ball rolling for Chris Coleman’s side when he headed in the opener late in the first half.
He then set Bale up for the third goal after the Real Madrid star netted the second from a free-kick.
Like Dzeko, Sunderland striker Fletcher has not found goals easy to come by in the Premier League this season.
But he ended a four-month drought in style by scoring a hat-trick in Scotland’s 6-1 victory over minnows Gibraltar at Hampden Park.
The treble is the first scored by a Scotland international since Colin Stein's four goals against Cyprus in 1969.
His club form for Arsenal has improved in recent months and Ozil stepped it up again for Germany in their 2-0 victory over Georgia.
The 26-year-old played the entire 90 minutes in Tbilisi and put in an impressive display as well as providing an assist.
He had three shots, two of which were on target, and was at the heart of the world champions’ best attacking moves.
