Arsenal fan Skin of Skunk Anansie picks her dream five-a-side team... Arsenal fan Skin of legendary punk-rockers Skunk Anansie says she grew up watching footballers that have helped changed the attitudes towards black players in the game. The London-born songstress' dream five-a-side team is populated by some of those idols, including a particular Gunners hero of hers. Skin took time out from touring following the release of the band's latest album 'Black Traffic' to share her fantasy team with Sky Sports.
Shaka Hislop
He's a Hackney lad and I think he started off as a striker but he got stuffed in goal because he was like 6' 6" high. He's originally from Trinidad and it was always interesting to see a black player playing when I was growing up.
Sol Campbell
He's just one of the best defenders ever, really. He seems like a great guy as well, even though he comes across as a bit delicate, emotionally speaking. In terms of skill though, I'll go for him.
John Barnes
He was a Liverpool player in the beginning, but we'll forgive him for that. He's become a voice of reason when it comes to talking about racism in football. Before that, he was an amazing player, with great passing and great skills.
Paul Ince
The guvnor, another East London boy. I think it was West Ham he started with. He was fantastic in midfield and was also the first black person to captain England.
Ian Wright (captain)
He's not only one of my favourite people, but he's also one of my favourite footballers ever. He's had a really hard life, he got rejected by everybody - and I know what that's like - and ended up becoming one of the most decorated players for Arsenal. An honourable mention goes to Laurie Cunningham, who led the way in the 1970s when there were no other black players around - he was so talented. Five songs Skin would have on in the dressing room to fire up her side...
