In-form Yeovil stretched their winning streak to three games as they triumphed 1-0 at Crewe and Stech cut a solid figure between the sticks as he kept his second clean sheet of the season. The keeper's best moment came in the first half as he dived to keep out a low drive from Chuks Aneke.
Tony McMahon - Sheffield United
The Blades went joint top of the table with a 1-0 home win over Portsmouth on Monday and McMahon played a key role to help his side to their seventh clean sheet of the campaign. The right-back made a crucial last-gasp challenge after the break to deny Jon Harley.
Kyle McFadzean - Crawley
Promoted Crawley are still flying high in the table and McFadzean ensured they snatched a share of the spoils at home to Oldham, grabbing his third goal of the season to cancel out Jose Baxter's second-half opener for a 1-1 draw and cap a fine all-round display.
Richard Wood - Coventry
Wood was part of an impressive Sky Blues defence in their triumph 1-0 at Leyton Orient, helping hold things steady at the back as the visitors claimed a much-needed three points to close on escape from the bottom three.
Dan Lewington - MK Dons
The Dons claimed a convincing 3-0 success at Scunthorpe to end a six-game winless streak in the league. Lewington impressed on the left of defence, putting in a hard-working shift at the back and playing a key role in Luke Chadwick's opener as he provided a well-taken cross from a tight angle.
Kyle Bennett - Doncaster
Bennett contributed a man-of-the-match winning display as Doncaster triumphed 2-0 at Notts County, producing a lively performance in midfield as Rovers kept themselves in the promotion play-off places.
Luke Chadwick - MK Dons
Chadwick scored a brace as the Dons beat Scunthorpe, netting early on after goalkeeper Sam Slocombe failed to deal with Lewington's corner before adding another on the half-hour mark, curling in an excellent effort from 25 yards.
Craig Eastmond - Colchester
Eastmond was on target with a third-minute opener in Colchester's 2-2 draw at Shrewsbury, with the on-loan Arsenal youngster beating goalkeeper Chris Weale with a low drive from 20 yards to mark his second goal for the club.
Mark Pugh - Bournemouth
The Cherries enjoyed a 4-2 victory at Carlisle and Pugh was influential to the win, netting a first-half brace to help maintain their unbeaten streak since manager Eddie Howe's return. The midfielder made sure Bournemouth were firmly in the driving seat as he scored in the eighth minute before adding another around the half-hour mark.
Paul Hayes - Brentford
The Bees will have felt aggrieved to only take a point from their visit of Hartlepool after being pegged to a 2-2 draw. Hayes contributed a brace, marking his first goals in a Brentford shirt since his summer arrival.
Matt Ritchie - Swindon
Ritchie scored Swindon's second goal and set up two more as the Robins inflicted a first home league defeat of the season on Stevenage, romping to a 4-0 win. He provided the knock down for Raffaele De Vita's opener before firing home himself, then set up Miles Storey for the third seven minutes later.
