Duberry attracted to management

Veteran Oxford defender Michael Duberry would be interested in going into management when he eventually hangs up his boots.

The centre-back turns 36 on Friday and, while he is still very much involved in the playing side of the game, the former Chelsea man has begun to think about what happens after he retires. And although he wants to continue playing as long as possible, making the move from the dressing room to the manager's office is something he would definitely consider. "I've been toying with the idea," he told skysports.com. "There's not a lot of black managers and I'd like to maybe do some of that and break that mould. "I'll play for as long as I can, I don't care about the level. If I stop playing professionally I'll be playing at some sort of level."
