Rochdale boss Steve Eyre insists the four trialists looking to secure contracts at the club must up their game.
Goalkeeper Matt Duke, defender Chris Doig and midfielders Jason Jarrett and Paul Marshall all started the defeat at Wrexham at the weekend. "Pre-season or not, I am disappointed with the way the goals went in," Eyre told the press after the game in north Wales. "We've not kept a clean sheet yet in our warm up matches. We were a little green and naive at times. "It would be unfair to put the performance down to the trialists but I don't think any of the them can be knocking on our door demanding a contract at our club just yet."
