Viktor Fischer grabbed a late winner as Denmark came from behind to beat Montenegro 2-1 in their friendly at the Energi Viborg Arena on Monday.

Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic handed the visitors a 17th-minute lead before Tottenham's Christian Eriksen levelled matters deep into the second half.

Ajax winger Fischer sealed the win with a penalty after 86 minutes as Denmark returned to winning ways following their 2-0 defeat to France in March.

Next up for Denmark will be Saturday's Euro 2016 Group I qualifier at home to Serbia as they look to leapfrog Portugal at the top of the table.

Hakan Calhanoglu and Burak Yilmaz netted a brace each as Turkey trounced Bulgaria 4-0 in their Istanbul friendly, with all four goals coming in the second half.

Fatih Terim’s Turkish side will now travel to Kazakhstan for their European Group A qualifier.

Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic was denied by Norway goalkeeper Orjan Nyland as his side played out a goalless draw with their Scandinavian neighbours at Ullevaal.

Elsewhere, Paul Fenech and Alfred Effiong were on target as Malta ended an eight-match winless streak, seeing off Lithuania 2-0.

The win marked Pietro Ghedin's side first victory since 2013 in Ta' Qali ahead of Friday's European Group H match at home to Bulgaria.

Sky Sports will be showing 23 matches from the latest round of European qualifiers, including Wales v Belgium on Friday. Coverage begins on Sky Sports 5 at 7pm.
