Sporting Kansas City made it three consecutive home wins after beating FC Dallas 4-0 in the MLS on Saturday.

The home side took the lead in the 19th minute when former Liverpool youngster Krisztian Nemeth headed in from close range.

However, the visitors’ chances of a comeback were all but ended when defender Zach Loyd was sent off after being shown a second yellow for bringing Nemeth to the floor after the striker had stolen the ball off him before attempting to race through on goal.

Midfielder Benny Feilhaber then doubled Kansas' advantage in the 51st minute when he slotted past goalkeeper Dan Kennedy after being picked out in the penalty area by Nemeth.

And Kevin Ellis added a third shortly afterwards when he headed home from a corner, before Graham Zusi wrapped up the scoring with a fourth just past the hour-mark.
