Javier Hernandez says Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is similar to former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson in his approach to man management.
Hernandez, on loan at Real from United until the end of the season, has scored four goals in his last five games for the La Liga side, including the winner in the Champions League semi-final against rivals Atletic Madrid.
The Mexican's future is unknown at the Bernabeu, with Real having a 10million euro option to buy the striker.
But despite chances so far being limited for Hernandez, he has praised Ancelotti for his approach with the players.
He told Spanish radio station Cadena SER: "Ancelotti works a little more closely with the players, he has a calmer approach.
"Ancelotti is more like Ferguson, he gives his players a little more freedom."
Before getting a chance in the team due to an injury to Karim Benzema, times in the Spanish capital were tough for Hernandez, and he still cannot say where he will be next season.
"I was having a tough time of it three months ago. When the going gets tough, when you have doubts about whether you're good enough to be at Real Madrid, that's when my family is crucial.
"[My future] is between the club's board and my agent. I'm not thinking about the future now, I'm enjoying the moment. I'm at the best club in the world."
