Leeds winger Aidy White can still has a big role to play at Elland Road, according to head coach Neil Redfearn.
White had become the forgotten man during a season of turmoil at Elland Road following a foot injury sustained in a summer friendly at Chesterfield in July.
The 23-year-old, who twice stepped off the bench to warm up during last week's win at Sheffield Wednesday only to take his place back among the substitutes, played his last competitive match on the final day of last season.
Asked whether there was a chance White could feature against Rotherham, Redfearn said: "Definitely.
"For me Aidy's got something that we've not had, a genuine wide player with pace, a dribbler who goes past people, so if we get get Aidy on for some of the game on Saturday then definitely.
"I'm a fan of Aidy White's. He's one of our's, he came through the academy and I think we can utilise Aidy going forward, there's no two ways about it."
White made his debut for his hometown club in a home Carling Cup win against Crystal Palace in 2008 and his first league appearance followed at Carlisle a month later. He has made a total of 110 appearances and has scored two goals.
