Luis Enrique insisted that the most important thing for Barcelona was remaining top of La Liga after they were held to a 2-2 draw at Sevilla on Saturday.
Barca threw away a two-goal lead after Lionel Messi opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a curled effort before Neymar doubled the lead just past the half-hour mark with an exquisite free-kick.
But Ever Banega pulled a goal back before half-time to lift the home fans - and the majority of the fans inside the Sanchez Pizjuan were delighted when substitute Kevin Gameiro levelled from close range in the 84th minute.
The Frenchman's strike cut Barca's lead over rivals Real Madrid at the top of the table to just two points, with seven matches of the season remaining.
Asked to whether he thought the draw was a fair result, Luis Enrique told a press conference: "It doesn't matter if it's fair or not, it is what it is and it's not changeable.
"It's okay, we're still in first place. Last year the league was decided on the last day. This year we are leaders before that."
The 44-year-old Spaniard admitted he was disappointed his side could not replicate their first-half pressure during the second 45 minutes as the hosts struck back for a point.
"In the first half we played very good football and created problems for Sevilla,” he added. "We had a great first half except for five minutes when we fell apart.
"The second half was more balanced, no team was superior and we made one mistake.
"We had the feeling that we could get the third goal but also give up one. And we conceded that goal in a way that we didn't think would happen: our own error.
"When Xavi came in we looked to be in control of the game, we had the ball and more options inside with Andres Iniesta, but we had a tough time maintaining longer possessions."
The Catalans are next in action on Wednesday when they travel to Paris St Germain for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
