Gillingham midfielder Amine Linganzi has had his contract cancelled by mutual agreement, the League One club have announced.

Linganzi joined Gills in the summer of 2013 from Accrington but has found his time in the first team limited - he was yet to feature in the second half of this season. With just 28 appearances in all, the former Blackburn player's two-year deal has been brought to a premature end. A Gills statement confirmed Linganzi's exit and added: "The club would like to place on record its gratitude to Amine for his services while at Gillingham, and we wish him well for the future." Algeria-born Linganzi, who started his professional career at St Etienne, had not played for Gillingham since late December and scored just one goal for the club.
