UEFA has ordered Dynamo Kiev to close part of its stadium when the club hosts Everton in the Europa League due to security fears.

Dynamo fans invaded the Olympic Stadium pitch and clashed with security staff during a match against French side Guingamp last week.

Play was briefly stopped during the Ukraine side’s 3-1 win.

UEFA said the club must close sector 21 of the stadium, which hosted the 2012 European Championship final,  when it hosts Everton in the last 16 tie on March 19.

Dynamo was also fined around £50,740 (70,000 euros).

Club officials had claimed visiting French fans had provoked the home supporters by turning tricolor flags sideways to resemble Russian flags.
