Bayern Munich have been hit with a double injury blow as they confirm they will be without Franck Ribery and Rafinha when the Bundesliga resumes on Friday night.
The champions travel to second-placed Wolfsburg for the first action after the winter break and Pep Guardiola will have to make do without a couple of key players.
Bayern confirmed on social media that Ribery and Rafina are both expected to miss the next few weeks and games against Schalke, Stuttgart and Hamburg.
Ribery has suffered torn muscle fibres in his right thigh while Rafinha has damaged ligaments in his left ankle.
Bayern head to Wolfsburg with an 11-point advantage following their unbeaten start to the season - Guardiola's side have won 14 and drawn 3 of their first 17 league games.
