Boco's India move annoys Turner

Chesterfield have confirmed that Romy Boco has left the club to play for Indian I-League side Bharat FC.

The 29-year-old, who has scored once in 19 appearances this season following his arrival from Plymouth, has signed a deal with Bharat, much to the displeasure of Spireites chief executive Chris Turner. "I feel that Romy has let (manager) Paul Cook down as he gave him an opportunity to play first-team football when nobody wanted him," he told the club's official website. "Contract offers were made to him, but he decided to turn them down. "No player is bigger than the club, however, so we move on and wish Romy all the best for the future."
