Soccer Saturday Super 6 are expecting a record-breaking week for entries after Birmingham fan Nina Adams became the second player in a month to land the £250,000 jackpot.

The 33-year-old mum of two had plenty to celebrate after she correctly predicted the results of six selected Premier League 3pm kick-offs in the Sky Sports free-to-play football prediction game.

More than 750,000 players take part in the game on a weekly basis and the game organisers are expecting a bumper entry for Saturday’s round after the recent spate of winners.

Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling added: "It has been quite a remarkable few weeks for Super 6 with two winners in the last month, that's £500,000 we've given away. I'm looking forward to receiving some nice presents this Christmas."

Nina was presented with the cheque by Soccer Saturday pundit Paul Merson this week after defying odds of 55,038/1 with her selections and becoming the fifth winner of the free-to-play game in the last 15 months.

Nina, who plans to use her winnings to buy a house with her husband, said: "When I was told I had won I couldn't believe it but it's now beginning to sink in.

"I enjoying playing Super 6 but never expected to win. It’s going to be an amazing Christmas."

Nina correctly matched wins for Burnley, Chelsea, West Brom and Manchester City while Crystal Palace and Sunderland played out home draws with Stoke and West Ham respectively.
