Sky Bet Championship: Millwall captain Alan Dunne thankful for away support

Millwall captain Alan Dunne is backing his club's travelling fans to again make their mark on Saturday's London derby with Charlton at The Valley.

The Lions will be roared on by more than 3,000 away supporters as they seek to claim victory at this venue for the third straight season.

"Having over 3,000 fans getting behind you will always help, no matter where you are playing or who you are up against," defender Dunne told his club's official website.

"In the last couple of games we've played at The Valley our fans have really driven us on. That level of support can be key in games like these.

"We've got to keep their frontmen quiet and not allow them to bring their crowd into it. I think having a clean sheet at half-time could be important, and if we are playing towards our own fans in the second half then we have a good chance."
