Stephen Warnock believes Leeds can quickly get back on track following Neil Redfearn's return to the helm as caretaker manager.

United won three out of four Sky Bet Championship matches while the 49-year-old was in charge after David Hockaday's departure earlier this term.

A run of six games without a victory under Darko Milanic has left Leeds down in 18th place in the table, but Warnock is tipping Redfearn to steady the ship again.

"He's obviously got the respect of the chairman, respect of the players," said Warnock on the club's official website.

"We've worked under him quite a few times, the lads who have been here for a longer period at the club.

"I think he's someone that the lads enjoy working for and hopefully he can get the best out of the team and try and turn things in the right way now.

"Training was good on Monday. I think he just knows that if he tries to keep the lads happy and gets them enjoying their football again, things will go well."
