Hartlepool have extended the loan deals of Middlesbrough striker Charlie Wyke and Sunderland defender Scott Harrison.

Wyke has impressed during his first month at Victoria Park, scoring three goals in five appearances, and the 21-year-old will remain with Colin Cooper's side for another two months. Harrison, also 21, joined Pools in August and has started the club's last four matches in League Two. Both players have prolonged their stays until after the game with York on November 22. "Charlie was excellent for us before he got the knock at Northampton so we're pleased he's sticking around," Hartlepool boss Cooper told the club's official website. "I think the fans have seen already how much he's come on as a player since his last loan here and he looks like a player who is really enjoying his football so we're delighted to get things sorted. "We're also pleased to get things done with Scott because he's a good defender who has done well since he came here. "He was keen to stay with us after his first month expired because he's really enjoying his football so we're delighted we've been able to get the deal finalised."
