Millwall new boy Matthew Briggs is confident Ian Holloway can get the best out of him at The Den.
The former Fulham defender penned a one-year deal with the club on Friday following his release from Craven Cottage.
He had a three-week trial with the Lions, making friendly appearances against Dartford and Stevenage, and is delighted to have signed permanently.
Briggs told the club's official website: "All I really wanted to do was to play under this manager. He showed belief in me and that's why I had to come back.
"He knows what I can do, I know what I can do and I hope he brings the best out of me. We're going to work together very closely and hopefully I can push on this season.
"I was at Fulham a long time and came up through the ranks there, but these things happen in football.
"I've got a fresh start now, a manager who believes in me and I just have to play well for him. Everyone here wants to play for the manager."
