Doncaster have confirmed that Alex Peterson and Harry Middleton have signed new contracts at the club.

Teenage forward Peterson has extended his stay at the Keepmoat Stadium by a further 12 months while midfielder Middleton has accepted the offer of a new deal to keep him a Rovers player until the summer of 2015. Peterson made five appearances for Paul Dickov's side in the Championship last season, including a start in the goalless draw against Millwall. He will be looking for more first-team action this season in League One. Middleton's only senior appearance to date came in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Crewe at Gresty Road. He played the full 90 minutes as the hosts won on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Both players are aged 19 and both came through the youth set up at Rovers.
