Coventry have taken Marcus Tudgay on trial with a view to securing a permanent deal.
The 31-year-old striker has joined up with the Sky Blues squad for their pre-season preparations following the end of his contract at Nottingham Forest. Tudgay has played for five clubs in his career, but his most prolific spell came for Sheffield Wednesday between 2006-11, when he scored 48 goals in 194 league games.
