Mame Biram Diouf would welcome the opportunity to line up alongside Bojan Krkic at Stoke City if a loan deal can be done.
Mark Hughes has held talks with the Barcelona forward regarding a possible season-long agreement.
Bojan remains some way down the pecking order at the Nou Camp, despite re-signing from Roma in 2013, and spent the 2013/14 campaign with Dutch giants Ajax.
The 23-year-old has struggled to produce the kind of form on a senior stage that saw him billed as a potential superstar of the future during his time in Barca's academy system.

His talent remains without question, though, and Diouf - himself a new arrival at the Britannia Stadium - believes Bojan would be a shrewd addition to the Stoke ranks.
He said in The Sentinel: "He is a very good player. It would be great because we need as many players as we can.
"The season is long and anything can happen, so we need more players if we can.
"If we can get him in and helping us, it would be more than welcome."
While it remains to be seen whether Bojan will be turning out in the Premier League next season, Diouf finds himself back in familiar surroundings.
The Senegalese frontman spent three years on the books of Manchester United between 2009 and 2012, which included a season-long loan at Blackburn Rovers, but the 26-year-old does not believe that he has a point to prove after returning to England from Hannover.
He said: "As a football player you always want to go where you can play.
"I was staying there (United) and not getting a chance, so it was best for me to get away.
"I just want to play football, have fun and enjoy it, not put pressure on myself. I just try to score a goal as much as I can.
"There are no targets. I go on to the pitch and I just want to score goals."
