Roma have completed the signing of Fenerbahce midfielder Salih Ucan on a one-year loan with the option to make the deal permanent.
The capital club will pay 4.75million euros (£3.8million) to have the player next season and can extend the loan for a second season at no further cost.
They will then have the option to purchase the player in the summer of 2016 for an additional 11million euros (£8.75million).
"AS Roma would like to announce that it has agreed a loan deal with Fenerbahce Futbol AS for the player Salih Ucan for a fee of 4.75million euros," read a statement on asroma.it.
"The contract is valid for the 2014-15 season and includes an option to extend the loan for another year, at no additional cost, and sign the player permanently from the 2016-17 season for a fee of 11million euros.
"Salih Ucan has therefore signed a five-year contract, which expires on June 30 2019."
Ucan began his career at Bucaspor, earning himself a move to Fener in the summer of 2012 and has represented Turkey at all age groups, including one senior cap.
Ucan follows Seydou Keita and former England and Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole in joining the Giallorossi this summer.
