Charlton have completed the signing of Igor Vetokele from FC Copenhagen for an undisclosed fee.
The Angola forward has signed a five-year deal after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms which sees him commit to the club until 2019.
Vetokele began his career at Belgian Pro League side Gent before switching to Cercle Brugge, where he played under Addicks boss Bob Peeters.
He earnt a move to Denmark and Copenhagen in 2012 and won the Danish league title during in his first season.
Vetokele finished top scorer with 13 goals in 31 appearances last term as Copenhagen finished runners-up.
A former Belgium Under-21 international, Vetokele has since won two caps for Angola’s senior side.
Vetokele, 22, becomes Peeters’ second summer signing after the arrival of Yoni Buyens on loan from Standard Liege at the weekend.
